Ross and his family took over the Rally School in 2016 and transformed it into the Forest Experience that we have today. Ross’ vision is to have a top quality stage, suitable for all competitors from novices in Nova’s to top world teams. So far, through hard work – and a lot of grading! He has achieved this.

Equally, creating an outstanding experience where people get a taster for all the fun and thrill that Rallying can offer. The 5* reviews support his goal and he can’t wait to diversify the experiences further.

Ross himself started competing just before starting University at local events like the infamous Wyedean Rally which lead into a number of Forest Rally events. Early on he won the Citroen C2 Championship and progressed into competing in Subaru’s and R2s. He has many class awards amongst them awards from the first closed road rally in England. He has also driven for TV shows such as Top Gear and has brought some high-profile names into the sport, for example John Newman, who is now having his car built by companies local to the Rally School. Ross also took an R5 to the infamous Goodwood Rally Stage beating top competitors and securing an impressive 3rd overall.

Ross’ other main passion is opening up the sport to newcomers and providing a friendly yet professional and educational environment for up and coming rally drivers. This has been shown with the work with drivers such as Tom Williams and Catie Munnings who have both sought instruction at the school. He has also worked hard to support junior drivers and those with smaller budgets by providing facilities at a competitive price to help kick start their passion.

James Giddings from South Wales has now worked at the Forest Experience Rally School for a number of years. Having competed since 2015, won several Class Awards and won not only the Citroen C2 Championship in 2016, after finishing behind Ross in 2015 but the Fiesta ST Championship in 2018 too

Hannah has been with the Forest Experience from the start of launching business. As an extremely experienced and championed international Rally Navigator, Hannah has brought her Navigator organisational skills to the forefront of the Forest Experience.

You may have seen Hannah winning in local events in the Scottish Rally Championship, competing in top cars on the British Rally Championship or on TV navigating overseas.

Day to day Hannah is the friendly voice you hear the other end of the phone, can guide you through the courses and book you in for your next fun Rally Experience or Corporate day.

Graham is one of the kindest chaps you’ll meet on an experience. He’s also a speed demon with a collection of Motorbikes and cars. He has competed in sidecars, rally cars and solo bikes. He is well known for being the only person to win the British Enduro Championship on both a 2 and 4 stroke outfit. He can fix literally anything and can usually be found elbows deep in the engine bay of our grader.

Osian is well known as one of the fastest Rally drivers in the UK, having won numerous prestigious events. He won the 2016 Drive DMACK Championship (now referred to as Junior WRC) Osian won the first Closed Rally in Wales in 2019 and has also driven for World Rally Team M-Sport.

Tom is Godson to the legendary Richard Burns and has been brought up around Motorsport. Having started competing in a Nissan Micra, he has worked his way up the ranks from R2 to driving an R5 Rally car in the British Rally Championship. Soon to be seen in WRC2.

Catie competed in the European Rally Championship and is now driving an M-Sport R2 in the Junior WRC. She won the FIA European Rally Championship Ladies Trophy in 2016. She is one of Redbull’s selected up and coming talents and your children may recognise her as the presenter of Catie’s Amazing Machines on CBeebies.

Paul’s journey in Motorsport started when he was just 8 years old! He has over 100 Road Rallies under his belt with a mixture of navigating and driving with a number of class wins. He has also taken part in the BTRDA Championship as a Co Driver and in total 31 years in the sport as Motorsports Events Organiser

Jade has been competing in Motorsport from the age of 15 having grown up in a Motorsport family. From the age of 17 Jade was picked up from Mazda to race in an endurance series and then made the switch to Rallying a few years later. Jade competed and won the 2018 Junior Welsh Tarmac Championship as well as her Class and the King of Epynt Trophy. Jaguar invited Jade to drive a one-ff specification Jaguar F Type Rally Car in 2019 and she was often referred to as their resident Rally Driver.

Jade has also created her own podcast Motorsport Now and also presented for the BBC about the effects of Covid 19 on Welsh Motorsport.
