I got all the time I needed with my incredible instructor Dan. I’ve done some racing in the past before and having Dan who rallies himself was able to push me on and teach me how to drive on a Rally Stage properly! I am now converted to Rally!!
PLATINUM
The ultimate rally experience that is open to the general public. This is ideal as a one to one experience, a dedicated time in the rally car for you and an instructor make full use of an authentic rally stage in the iconic rear wheel drive MKII Escort and/or 4WD Subaru Impreza.
This course is aimed at all abilities of drivers who want a unique experience.
Customers who book this course may be completely new to Motorsport. They just want to have a Rally adventure and feel the thrill of something totally different.
We also have customers who have in the past competed in Motorsport and want to experience all the thrill and excitement but we do all the hard work of preparing the cars and venue.
As our Instructors are Rally Competitors, they have a vast range of skills to ensure at whatever level you are, you’re going to have a truly fantastic course.
The schedule for the day is flexible as we use the time to meet your requirements be they detailed tuition or maximum fun!

A Sample Schedule
Our PLATINUM rally driving course typically follows the schedule below (but we work with you to tailor this on the day):
- Arrive at The Rally School for registration and a short safety briefing
- Time in a rally car in our precision skills area where the instructor will gauge your skill level and understand your hopes for the day.
- Head onto miles of Forest Rally stage and work closely with your instruct to maximise your time!
- Have it as you want it! Practice skills, drive the challenging forest rally stages – do the long stage as many times as the time allows – work on pace notes – technical skills – whiteboard session or just smiles for miles whatever you want from the day.
Specific timing details are provided close to your course date. We work around the forest and the lighting during different times of the year. There may be other customers on site please See FAQs for more details or check availability by emailing info@forestrally.co.uk.
As this session is a flexible format you have the option to enjoy a Half Day Platinum Course or extend your booking to a Full Day Platinum Course as ‘Double Session’ where you can continue your experience for the rest of the day. You can split the session over an afternoon of day one and the morning of day two making travelling easier and providing time to reflect over night before returning on day two to practice all things you forgot to ask on day one.
