COVID-19 Vouchers

Vouchers for Bronze and Silver Courses will be sent out for a deposit of £29, for the voucher to be used for a course the balance remaining must be paid when booking the date of your course.
All vouchers sent out under the deposit scheme will have a value of £29 which may be redeemed against Bronze or Silver courses only. The voucher is not exchangeable for cash or credit.
The voucher will have a validity period of 18months and the course must be taken before the voucher expires, it is strongly recommended to book at least 3months in advance due to the popularity of our courses

Voucher and Purchase Terms and Conditions

Vouchers are non-transferable except with the express permission of Forest Experience Rally
Vouchers are valid for a period of 12months (unless stated otherwise)
Vouchers can be extended for 4months at a time for a charge of 33% of the voucher value
No purchases can be exchanged or refunded for cash
Vouchers are non-refundable, however all remote purchases are subject to distance selling regulations, where you will have 14 days to return a voucher for a refund, we reserve the right to charge an admin fee on any returns that fall into the distance selling regulations
Where deposits or vouchers for credit are being used to book, the full payment for the course must be made 30days prior to the booked date or your place may be given to another participant or cancelled
We make every reasonable effort to run the course in the specified and/or booked car but reserve the right to change the car in exceptional circumstances
We make all reasonable efforts to run the course on the speciﬁed date but should there be an issue such as adverse weather or other instances out of our control we reserve the right to postpone courses until they are practical to run. We will aim to keep you informed via email of any changes and advise as soon as practical of any cancellations.
We cannot refund or reimburse any charges incurred by guests for travel arrangements, accommodation or any subsequent costs thereafter for any reason.
Should your course be postponed by The Forest Experience we will extend your voucher by 6months to give you flexibility but we require you to call to rebook within 4weeks of the postponed course (the course booked may be anytime within the extended validity of your voucher)
A minimum of 30 days notice is required to reschedule a booked course
A fee of 50% of the course value will be charged at time of rescheduling for changes made within this 30day window. Any changes within the 30day window are at the discretion of The Forest Experience and cannot be guaranteed.
In the unlikely event that we cannot fill a course with the minimum number of participants we reserve the right to cancel the course and reschedule the participants to another date
We advise booking 3 months in advance of your voucher expiry date as we do have very busy periods and cannot guarantee availability in a shorter time frame.

Courses and Participants, Terms and Conditions and further information

It is important to wear suitable shoes for the driving experience. A sports trainer with a ﬂat sole is ideal allowing a good ‘feel’ for the pedals. High heels or large thick soles are not suitable
No specialist clothing is required but we advise that you dress appropriate to the weather conditions which can be variable on any given day as our venue is at 1,500 feet in the Welsh Forest. The venue is quite exposed although a cabin is available
A waiver is signed by each participant prior to the course at registration. Each participant is stating that they are taking the course entirely at their own risk and will not hold any person, company or organisation liable in the event of their death or injury. Participants also sign to say they are liable for the full cost to repair any damage to the vehicle caused by their recklessness or ignoring instructions from the instructor. An Insurance waiver is offered to reduce this liability and is offered to all participants
Juniors must be signed in by and accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18
Access to the forest is via unmade roads and locked gates. You will travel in your own vehicle. All typical family cars are capable of this journey. Please call in advance if this is a worry and we will make alternative arrangements where possible
All attendees are there for the duration of the event as the gates are locked for safety reasons.
No pets are permitted due to safety and well-being of all attendees.
Be aware that this is NOT a driving lesson for use on the highway and we are not seeking to teach people to drive. We will teach speciﬁc car control techniques related to rally driving. All participants (including juniors) are presumed to have basic driving skills that include the ability to operate the clutch, brake and accelerator, steer the vehicle and change gear without having to take their eyes off the road.
We want all our customers to have a great day! However, the instructor has the right to refuse any participant the right to drive if, in the instructors sole opinion, they are not appropriately dressed (ie shoes), do not have the required minimum driving skills or are unwilling to follow the instructors directions or are being a general nuisance or danger to themselves, other participants or spectators.
Any participant who shows signs of having been drinking alcohol or appears to be under the influence of any other substance will be refused permission to drive.
The instructors decision is final
No refunds are available where the instructor determines a participant fails to meet the above conditions however, we may offer another group member the option to take their place - This is at the sole discretion of The Forest Experience
Our recommended height and weight restrictions are : Height - Min 4’ 10” Max 6’ 4” and Waist 42”. Please call for more information if you fall outside of these guidelines.
